GitLens is a post-quantum cryptography scanner that helps organisations understand where quantum-vulnerable cryptography exists across their software. By scanning Git repositories for vulnerable algorithms, dependencies, CVEs, licence issues and exposed secrets, GitLens gives security and development teams a clearer view of their cryptographic risk and provides practical migration guidance towards NIST post-quantum standards.
The transition is no longer theoretical. NIST finalised its first post-quantum standards, FIPS 203, 204 and 205, in 2024, and government migration timelines now expect quantum vulnerable cryptography to be found, inventoried and replaced through the early 2030s. The hard part is knowing where that cryptography lives. GitLens gives security and development teams that inventory, repository by repository, with practical guidance on what to migrate first.
